My formative years in northwest England, amidst the beauty of the West Pennine Moors, instilled in me a deep love for the environment, nature, wildlife, and animals. As a child, I developed a passion for painting and a profound connection with animals, practicing natural horsemanship for 20 years and transforming my own horse into a confident, trustworthy friend. Despite a successful career as a project manager at Hewlett Packard, I often struggled with the time spent away from my animals. In 2015, a life-changing event prompted me to leave my career and start Pawprints, a business dedicated to ensuring dogs receive the comfort, companionship, and enrichment they deserve, even when their owners are busy. I believe our dogs deserve as much care and love as any family member, and through Pawprints, we provide this essential service.
I’m Beci, 22 from south Wales and animals have been my passion since forever. I always knew I wanted to work with animals from a really young age and so I did a diploma in animal management in college and I’ve recently graduated from uni with a degree in animal therapy. My hobbies include horse riding and swimming and if you let me I’ll talk your ear off about my Beagle cross, Arlo!
Working with animals has always been my passion, so after completing work experience at Pawprints for my degree, I was thrilled to be offered a position here. I loved the friendly and welcoming atmosphere, and wanted to be part of a team that treats every dog like family. In addition to my work at Pawprints, I have volunteered as a puppy socialiser for Dogs for Good and at the Dogs Trust. These incredible experiences deepened my understanding of dogs from all walks of life. Outside of my role at Pawprints, I also work as an equine groom, a dog walker and house sitter, so I’m always surrounded by animals – just the way I love it
My name is Grace, and I’ve had a passion for animals since I was very young. I’ve been fortunate to work with a wide range of animals, from farm animals to wildlife, and now I’m thrilled to be working with dogs! During lockdown, I completed an animal management college course, which I thoroughly enjoyed. My favourite part of my job is providing dogs with new experiences and watching them thrive here at Pawprints. Outside of Pawprints, I’m often dog sitting and walking for people, so I’m rarely without canine company. I’m also lucky enough to have two dogs of my own who I love taking on adventures. In addition to my love for animals, I’m an avid traveller and enjoy exploring new countries and cultures.
My name is Jack, I’m 23 years old and I have lived in Cheltenham my whole life. I have been enjoying working at PawPrints for the past 4 years. I attended Cirencester College and spent 3 years studying Animal care and Animal management. I have also done voluntary work at the Cheltenham Animal shelter learning dog grooming and care. Since being at PawPrints I have attended courses covering dog first aid as well as puppy training. I’ve loved dogs from a very young age. I enjoy seeing how they explore and experience the world around them whilst displaying their unique and quirky behaviours they exhibit, for example being able to run around and play. Being given the opportunity to train them and be with them is a dream come true! For my hobbies I love watching films, building models and having long walks with my dog Cody, a 2 year old Red fox Labrador. I also enjoy Science fiction, history, computing and filmmaking.
I was raised with dogs and have always had a deep affection for them and a keen interest in training. My passion led me to study anthrozoology at university, and I recently rescued my own dog. In my free time, I enjoy going for walks, horseback riding, and crocheting.
I’m Tegan and I have a cockapoo named Flint, who is actually a “smoothie-poo” and therefore looks very much like a spaniel. He often accompanies me to work. In my free time, I enjoy training Flint to learn new tricks. Dog training is my passion, and I plan to pursue this interest further.
